Member of the Chair
Neus Cortada is a tenured professor at the Civil Law University. Belongs to the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Tourism of the UdL.
He teaches in the Degree of Law, the Master of Law of the FDET and, in the Master in Family Law and Childhood of the University of Barcelona.
He is an integral member of the Search Group of the University of Zaragoza, dedicated to the elaboration of a proposal to reform the legal system of attention to people with disabilities and minors. It is also part of the GRISIJ consolidated group of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
He is a member of the “La Caixa” Obra Social Chair of Studies on Social Inequalities.
His research focuses on situations of vulnerability, both in the field of prevention and protection of childhood and adolescence and family law – couple crisis, gender violence – Equally works in the patrimonial field of protection to vulnerability in property rights, housing and the protection of mortgage debtors.
She has been a substitute judge of the Provincial Court of Lleida – civil section – for seven years.
She has been vice-dean of the FDET with functions of head of studies in law teaching and also was coordinator of the double degree Degree in Law and Degree in ADE.
