City of Lleida’s Observatory of Childhood and Adolescence
The observatory of Childhood and Adolescence and the City of Lleida aims to permanently analyze the main problems of childhood and adolescence, the evaluation of services, projects and resources as well as the detection of needs and resources in the city of Lleida.
This observatory carries out a biannual report on the situation of children and adolescents in Lleida, which will analyze aspects such as the situation of new children and adolescents or the evaluation of the child protection system and the new models of the future
Children’s Rights and Development Education
Since 2010, UNICEF has decided to take a step forward in its educational work to promote the Convention on the Rights of the Child in our country. With the funding of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, the project “Promotion of Development Education in Formal Education” was launched, which aims to promote the incorporation of children’s rights in the organization of education centers, like elementary school, primary school and secondary education centers.
This project includes UNICEF reports on the Rights of the Child and Education for Development, which analyze the needs of the Spanish education system.
