HIGH-PRIORITY TOPICS
The Chair aims to support applied research to contribute to the creation of scientific frames of reference and transform them into resources for the educational activities of adolescents. It is particularly oriented towards developing, testing and assessing models for best practices and proposals for educational activities on high-priority topics related to adolescence:
Research on educational practices that develop, among other features, meaningful participation by adolescents, using a rights-based approach.
Research to identify criteria and best practices for promoting adolescents’ health and emotional, social and psychological well-being through a positive youth development model.
This line focuses on the study of the elements needed for positive parenting during adolescence, particularly in vulnerable and at-risk families, using the paradigm of resilience.
